FIX → 10.0.8.13 · 12.1.1.3 ✓ verified
IBM API Connect versions 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 let a logged-in user change object fields that only the system should control. Setting those fields can lead to arbitrary code execution on the server.

Teams running self-managed IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 to 10.0.8.12 or V12 OnPrem 12.1.0.0 to 12.1.1.2. Any authenticated user can set an object field that only the system should control, which IBM says can lead to code execution (CWE-915, CVSS 9.9, changed scope), so exposure depends on who can hold an account. Teams on 10.0.8.13 or 12.1.1.3 or later can skip it.

A user could set a field that should only be controlled by the system, which could lead to code execution.
