Self-hosted or managed Outline instances running a version before 1.12.0 where authenticated members exist. The flaw is in the document publish authorization check, so the attacker needs a normal account, not an admin one. Instances already on 1.12.0 or later are not affected.

1.12.0.1.12.0 or later. Each row is the first time that source carried this signal. The analyst’s rows are its own findings.
Outline before 1.12.0 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in authorizeDocumentPublish() that allows authenticated members to publish documents into private collections without write access. Attackers can detach a child document via documents.unpublish, retaining parentDocumentId, then call documents.update with a private collection UUID to inject phishing content.
