Sites running the Welcart e-Commerce plugin version 2.12.4 or earlier where users with editor-level access or above can reach the order search handler. The attacker needs a logged-in editor account, so sites with few or trusted editors carry less exposure. Sites without Welcart installed, or running a later version, can skip it.

The Welcart e-Commerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to generic SQL Injection via the 'wp_usces_order_old (JSON fields searchSql / searchSkuSql)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.12.4 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with editor-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
