Any practice or hospital running OpenEMR before 8.3.0 where staff accounts exist, including non-clinical roles such as front desk or billing. Exposure is through the logged-in application, so the risk is internal account misuse rather than anonymous internet access. Installations already on 8.3.0 or later are not affected.
Not affected if version-8.3.0-or-later
