# Node.js: OpenSSL update assessment, and Node.js project plans

Node.js assessed the June 21 2022 OpenSSL security releases and found no active Node.js release line affected. The one flaw that matters here (CVE-2022-2068, command injection in the c_rehash script) is not reachable because Node.js does not use or ship that script.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- node:node affected ? fixed ?

## From the sources

Commercial support for versions past the Maintenance LTS phase is available through our OpenJS Ecosystem Sustainability Program partners OpenSSL update assessment, and Node.js project plans RG Rafael Gonzaga OpenSSL update assessment, and Node.js project plans Summary
The vulnerabilities in the OpenSSL Security releases of Jun 21 2022 do not affect any active Node.js release lines.
Analysis
Our assessment of the security advisory is:
The c_rehash script allows command injection (CVE-2022-2068)
Node.js doesn't use or ship the c_rehash script. Therefore, Node.js is not affected
