# Drupal Webform: cross-site scripting flaw in web page output

The Drupal Webform module does not neutralize input when generating web pages, allowing cross-site scripting. An attacker can run script in another user's browser session on the affected site.

## How to check

- Check the installed Webform version with `drush pm:list --filter=webform` or the Drupal admin Extend page.
- Confirm whether the version falls in `6.0.0` to `6.2.12` or `6.3.0` to `6.3.1`.

## Fix

- Upgrade the Drupal Webform module to a version later than `6.3.1` (the sources do not name the exact fixed release; check the Drupal security advisory).
