# HPE Networking Fabric Composer: API sessions may not expire, keeping admin access

HPE Networking Fabric Composer's API does not fully expire sessions when certain conditions outside an attacker's control are met. An authenticated administrator could keep persistent access to the system after their session should have ended.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## From the sources

An insufficient session expiration vulnerability exists in the API of HPE Networking Fabric Composer if certain preconditions outside of the attacker's control are met. Successful exploitation could allow an authenticated administrative attacker to maintain persistent access to the affected system.
