# AOS-10 CLI: arbitrary file deletion lets an admin crash the device

The command line interface of AOS-10 (Aruba network operating system) has an arbitrary file deletion flaw. An authenticated administrator can delete files and crash the system so it will not reboot without manual intervention.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check whether the device runs AOS-10 and which version (`unknown` from the sources; look at the device's show version output)
- Confirm which administrator accounts exist on the affected device

## Timeline

## From the sources

An arbitrary file deletion vulnerability exists in the command line interface of AOS-10 that could allow an authenticated attacker with administrative privileges to cause a denial of service. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to crash the system, preventing it from rebooting without manual intervention and disrupting normal operation of the affected device.
