# Aruba AOS-8: PAPI protocol flaw lets unauthenticated attackers change some settings

An authentication bypass in the PAPI protocol of Aruba AOS-8 wireless controllers lets an unauthenticated remote attacker get past existing authentication controls. A successful attacker can make limited unauthorized changes to certain settings on the affected system.
