# Dell OpenManage Enterprise: OS command injection lets low-privileged users run commands

Dell OpenManage Enterprise versions before 4.8.0 contain an OS command injection flaw that lets a low-privileged remote user run commands on the server. The NVD rates it high (CVSS 8.8) and the sources do not report active exploitation.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed OpenManage Enterprise version in the web console or on the appliance; a version below `4.8.0` is in scope.

## Fix

- Dell OpenManage Enterprise: move to version `4.8.0` or later.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-30T14:30:54+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-91913

## From the sources

Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Command execution.
