# Dell OpenManage Enterprise: path traversal exposes information to nearby low-privilege users

Dell OpenManage Enterprise versions before 4.8.0 contain a path traversal flaw that lets a low-privileged user reach files outside the intended directory. An attacker can read information they should not see.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed OpenManage Enterprise version in the web console or on the appliance; the sources do not give the exact command.
- Treat any version below `4.8.0` as affected.

## Fix

- Dell OpenManage Enterprise: move to `4.8.0` or later.

## Timeline

- 2026-11-02T13:23:16+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-91910

## From the sources

Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with adjacent network access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information exposure.
