# Dell Alienware Command Center: custom URL handler lets low-privilege users forge requests

Dell Alienware Command Center, before version 6.14.54.0, has an improper authorization flaw in its handler for custom URL schemes. A low-privileged attacker with remote access could potentially cause client-side request forgery, making the app send requests the attacker chooses.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Alienware Command Center version in the app or Windows Apps list; versions below `6.14.54.0` are listed as affected

## Fix

- Alienware Command Center: move to `6.14.54.0` or later

## Timeline

- 2026-11-02T20:35:38+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-91901

## From the sources
