# Oracle Agile PLM for Process: low-privilege network user can take over server

Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process 6.2.4, Product Quality Management component, has a flaw that lets a low-privileged user with HTTP access take over the application, with full confidentiality, integrity and availability impact. Oracle disclosed it in the October 2026 Critical Patch Update. CVSS 3.1 is 8.8 and the weakness is CWE-269. The same product and component had a similar flaw in the July 2026 CPU (CVE-2026-61180), so older patch levels may be affected by several issues.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process affected 6.2.4 fixed ?

## How to check

Find out whether you run Oracle Agile PLM for Process (the Product Quality Management module) at version 6.2.4. Then check in My Oracle Support whether the October 2026 CPU patch for Oracle Supply Chain Products is applied. Oracle's public page gives no detection command. Restrict who can reach the HTTP interface in the meantime.

## Fix

Apply the October 2026 Critical Patch Update for Oracle Agile PLM for Process 6.2.4. Follow the Oracle Supply Chain Products patch availability document linked from https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cpuoct2026.html. The exact patch number or build is unknown until that MOS document is read.
