# Oracle Identity Manager Connector: unauthenticated HTTP flaw exposes SAP ERP data

Oracle Identity Manager Connector for SAP ERP, in versions 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0, has a flaw that an unauthenticated attacker on the network can reach over HTTP. A successful attack can create, change or delete critical data and read data the connector can access, and the impact can extend beyond the connector itself.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:Oracle Identity Manager Connector affected 12.2.1.4.0, 14.1.2.1.0 fixed ?

## How to check

Check whether the Oracle Identity Manager Connector for SAP ERP+ is installed in your Oracle Identity Manager deployment. Look for connector version 12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.1.0 in the OIM connector inventory or in OPatch lsinventory output for the Oracle home. Check whether its HTTP endpoint is reachable from untrusted networks.

## Fix

Apply the October 2026 Critical Patch Update for Fusion Middleware (Oracle Identity Manager Connector) using the patch number in the MOS Fusion Middleware patch availability document linked from the CPU advisory. The exact patch id is not public. Until patched, restrict network access to the connector HTTP endpoint (Armis suggestion, not an Oracle workaround).

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T23:54:03+00:00 analyst — Oracle October 2026 CPU lists Oracle Identity Manager Connector 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0 (Fusion Middleware row). The patch number sits in a My Oracle Support patch availability document that is not public, so the fixed build is unknown. No exploitation or PoC seen (Armis, VulDB); social search skipped, product is obscure.

## From the sources

Vulnerability in the Oracle Identity Manager Connector product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: SAP ERP+). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Identity Manager Connector. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Identity Manager Connector, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Identity Manager Connector accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Identity Manager Connector accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.7 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N).
