# Oracle Outside In Clean Content SDK: local low-privilege user can modify data

Oracle Outside In Technology's Clean Content SDK component, version 8.5.8, has a flaw that lets a logged-in low-privilege user on the host compromise the product. A successful attack can create, delete or modify critical data and read a subset of data, and can partly deny service.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Confirm whether `Oracle Outside In` 8.5.8 is installed (the Clean Content SDK component of Oracle Fusion Middleware)
- Check the vendor's advisory for the exact affected versions: unknown

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update that covers CVE-2026-91475 for Oracle Outside In: unknown version
- Restrict local logons on hosts running Oracle Outside In until patched
