# Oracle Outside In PDF Export SDK: unauthenticated takeover over HTTP

The Oracle Outside In PDF Export SDK, part of Oracle Fusion Middleware, has a flaw that a remote unauthenticated attacker can reach over HTTP. A successful attack, which needs a user to take an action, can take over the component and affect its confidentiality, integrity and availability.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check whether the Outside In PDF Export SDK is deployed, for example in Oracle Fusion Middleware installs, and note its version
- Confirm the installed version against the affected release `8.5.8` listed by the source

## Fix

- Apply the vendor patch from Oracle's Security Alert for CVE-2026-91405 (fixed version unknown from sources)
- Restrict HTTP access to services that load the SDK until patched
