# Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator: IoT component flaw allows data changes

An unauthenticated attacker on the physical network segment of the host running JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator can compromise it, with a difficult attack. Successful exploitation can lead to unauthorized creation, modification, deletion and access to the data the Orchestrator can reach.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator version against the affected range `9.2.0.0` to `9.2.26.5`
- Confirm whether the E1 IoT Orchestrator Security component is in use on the host

## Fix

- Move JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator to a version outside the affected range `9.2.0.0` to `9.2.26.5`, using the patch from Oracle's Critical Patch Update advisory
- Restrict the physical and network segment the Orchestrator host sits on until patched
