# Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools: unauthenticated network attacker reads and changes data

Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 9.2.0.0 through 9.2.26.5 has an unauthenticated flaw in the Installation Security component, reachable over HTTPS. CVSS 9.1: an attacker can read and modify all data Tools can access. Fixed in Oracle's October 2026 Critical Patch Update.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools affected >= 9.2.0.0, <= 9.2.26.5 fixed ?

## How to check

Check the installed EnterpriseOne Tools release (Server Manager or the Tools release shown on the deployment server). Any release from 9.2.0.0 to 9.2.26.5 is affected. Also check whether the JDE HTTPS ports are reachable from untrusted networks.

## Fix

Apply the JD Edwards patch listed in the Patch Availability Document of the Oct 2026 CPU (My Oracle Support login needed). Armis says 9.2.26.6 or later, but Oracle's public page does not state the fixed build; confirm in MOS. Until patched, restrict network access to the Tools HTTPS ports.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:26+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-91305
- 2026-10-23T22:58:26+00:00 analyst — Oracle CPU Oct 2026 lists EnterpriseOne Tools 9.2.0.0-9.2.26.5 as affected; the patch doc is behind My Oracle Support (login), so the fixed build is not confirmed from Oracle. Armis infers 9.2.26.6+ (not primary). No exploitation or PoC found; no social search done. Installation-security hardening steps not found.
