# Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools: unauthenticated network access to data

Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools versions 9.2.0.0 through 9.2.26.5 have a flaw in the Interoperability SEC component reachable over JDENET. A difficult-to-exploit attack needs no login and can read, change or delete critical data in the application.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed EnterpriseOne Tools release against the affected range `9.2.0.0` to `9.2.26.5` (unknown how the sources expect this to be read from the install)
- Confirm whether JDENET is reachable from networks outside the trusted zone (unknown from the sources)

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools, moving past `9.2.26.5` (unknown exact patched build from the sources)
- Restrict network access to JDENET ports to trusted hosts (unknown exact port from the sources)
