# Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools: monitoring component flaw exposes data

Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools, versions 9.2.0.0 through 9.2.26.5, has a flaw in its Monitoring and Diagnostics component. An attacker on the physical network segment of the host can access critical data without logging in, and may also change some data.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Confirm the installed EnterpriseOne Tools release is within 9.2.0.0 to 9.2.26.5 (unknown how the sources expect this to be read from the install)
- Check whether the Monitoring and Diagnostics SEC component is deployed (unknown from the sources)

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools (unknown patch version from the sources)
- Restrict physical and network segment access to hosts running EnterpriseOne Tools (unknown exact steps from the sources)
