# Oracle SOA Suite: unauthenticated HTTP flaw exposes critical data

Oracle SOA Suite's Fabric Layer component has a flaw that lets an unauthenticated attacker over HTTP reach data the product can access. The advisory describes high confidentiality impact, with no integrity or availability impact.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Oracle SOA Suite version against `12.2.1.4.0` and `14.1.2.0.0`
- Confirm whether the Fabric Layer endpoints are reachable from untrusted networks, which the sources do not specify

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for Oracle SOA Suite (Fabric Layer) on affected versions; the specific patch identifier is unknown from the sources

## Timeline

- 2026-10-23T21:57:26+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-91237

## From the sources

Vulnerability in the Oracle SOA Suite product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Fabric Layer). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle SOA Suite. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle SOA Suite accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.5 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N).
