# Oracle SOA Suite: Fabric Layer flaw lets low-privilege users take over

Oracle SOA Suite's Fabric Layer component, in versions 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0, has a flaw that a low-privileged network user can reach over HTTP. Successful exploitation can give an attacker full takeover of the SOA Suite server, with high confidentiality, integrity and availability impact.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed SOA Suite version against `12.2.1.4.0` and `14.1.2.0.0` in the Oracle Fusion Middleware home
- unknown

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for SOA Suite, or move to a patched release listed in Oracle's advisory
- unknown

## Timeline
