# Oracle SOA Suite Fabric Layer flaw lets low-privileged users take over

A flaw in the Fabric Layer component of Oracle SOA Suite, part of Oracle Fusion Middleware, can be exploited over HTTP by an attacker holding a low-privileged account. Successful exploitation can lead to full takeover of the SOA Suite instance, with high confidentiality, integrity and availability impact.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed SOA Suite version against the affected versions `12.2.1.4.0` and `14.1.2.0.0`
- Confirm whether the SOA Suite HTTP endpoints are reachable from untrusted networks: unknown

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for Oracle SOA Suite (Fabric Layer) for your release line; the exact patch identifier is unknown from the sources

## Timeline
