# Oracle SOA Suite: unauthenticated network flaw lets attackers take over server

Oracle SOA Suite's Fabric Layer has a flaw reachable over the network through T3 and IIOP without logging in. An unauthenticated attacker can take over the SOA Suite instance and affect other products on the same domain.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

Check the installed SOA Suite version: 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0 are listed as affected.
Check whether T3 or IIOP ports on the WebLogic admin or managed servers are reachable from untrusted networks.

## Fix

Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for CVE-2026-91216 for your SOA Suite version (exact patch ID: unknown).
Until patched, block external access to T3 and IIOP ports.

## Timeline

## From the sources

Vulnerability in the Oracle SOA Suite product of Oracle Fusion Middleware (component: Fabric Layer). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.0.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via T3, IIOP to compromise Oracle SOA Suite. While the vulnerability is in Oracle SOA Suite, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle SOA Suite. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 10.0 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H).
