# Oracle E-Business Suite: Applications Framework flaw exposes data to unauthenticated attackers

Oracle E-Business Suite's Applications Framework, versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15, has a security flaw that an unauthenticated attacker can reach over HTTP. A successful attack gives access to critical data the framework can reach, and needs a person other than the attacker to take an action.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed E-Business Suite release and the Applications Framework patch level against Oracle's advisory (unknown from the sources)
- Confirm whether the EBS web tier is reachable from the internet (unknown from the sources)

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update that addresses CVE-2026-87407 for E-Business Suite 12.2.x (exact patch number unknown from the sources)

## Timeline
