# Oracle WebCenter Content Imaging: low-privilege HTTP flaw exposes stored data

Oracle WebCenter Content: Imaging, part of Oracle Fusion Middleware, has a flaw in its Core component that lets a low-privileged user reach data over HTTP. A successful attack gives unauthorized read access to the critical data the product stores.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed WebCenter Content: Imaging version against `12.2.1.4.0` and `14.1.2.0.0`, the affected releases named in the sources
- unknown for any further check: the sources do not say which configuration or endpoint is involved

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update fix for WebCenter Content: Imaging releases `12.2.1.4.0` and `14.1.2.0.0`
- unknown for the exact patch identifier: the sources do not name it

## Timeline
