# Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools: flaw exposes data to unauthenticated network attackers

Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools versions 9.2.0.0 through 9.2.26.5 have a flaw in the Enterprise Infrastructure SEC component reachable over JDENET. A difficult-to-exploit attack without credentials can gain unauthorized access to critical data in the product.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Confirm the EnterpriseOne Tools release installed, comparing against `9.2.0.0` through `9.2.26.5`
- Check whether JDENET traffic is reachable from untrusted networks (unknown from the sources)

## Fix

- Move EnterpriseOne Tools to a release after `9.2.26.5` as published in Oracle's security advisory (the exact fixed version is unknown from the sources)
- Restrict JDENET access to trusted networks until patched
