# Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools: low-privilege network user can take over

Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools versions 9.2.0.0 through 9.2.26.5 contain a flaw in the Interoperability SEC component reachable over JDENET. An attacker with a low-privilege account on the network can take over the EnterpriseOne Tools installation.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools affected >= 9.2.0.0, <= 9.2.26.5 fixed ?

## How to check

Find your EnterpriseOne Tools release (Server Manager or the Tools release shown at JDE sign-on). Anything from 9.2.0.0 through 9.2.26.5 is affected. Check which hosts can reach JDENET; Armis says the default port is TCP 6017, not confirmed by Oracle.

## Fix

Apply the October 2026 CPU patch for EnterpriseOne Tools via My Oracle Support (JD Edwards patch availability document linked from the CPU page). Exact fixed Tools release not confirmed by Oracle in a readable source; Armis says 9.2.26.6 or later. Until patched, restrict JDENET to trusted hosts at the firewall.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-24T00:01:41+00:00 analyst — Oracle CPU Oct 2026 (primary) lists JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 9.2.0.0-9.2.26.5 as affected; the patch doc is MOS-gated so the fixed build is not confirmed from Oracle. Armis (third party) claims 9.2.26.6 and default JDENET port 6017, unverified. No exploitation or PoC found; no social search done. CVSS 8.8 from Oracle.
