# Dell PowerProtect Data Domain Management Center: SQL injection leaks information to low-privilege users

Dell PowerProtect Data Domain Management Center has an SQL injection flaw in several release lines, including Feature Release 7.7.1.0 through 8.8 and the LTS2024, LTS2025 and LTS2026 branches. An attacker with low privileges and remote access can exploit it to read information from the database.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Management Center version in the appliance UI or CLI and compare it with the affected ranges in the description.
- unknown for any other check; the sources do not describe a specific file or setting.

## Fix

- Move to a fixed release from Dell's advisory for the affected branch; the fixed version numbers are unknown from the sources.
- unknown for any interim mitigation.

## Timeline

## From the sources

Dell PowerProtect Data Domain Management Center, Feature Release versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.8, LTS2024 release versions 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.80, LTS2025 release versions 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.40, LTS2026 release versions 8.6.1.0 through 8.6.1.20, contain an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability.
