# Oracle E-Business Suite: Applications Manager Diagnostics leaks some data to admins

The Diagnostics component of Oracle Applications Manager in E-Business Suite 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 lets a highly privileged attacker over HTTP read a subset of data the product holds. The attack is hard to pull off and only reveals information, with no change to data or availability.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed E-Business Suite release version against `12.2.3` through `12.2.15` in the Oracle EBS environment
- Confirm whether Oracle Applications Manager Diagnostics is reachable over HTTP from untrusted networks (unknown from sources)

## Fix

- Apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update for E-Business Suite that addresses CVE-2026-83388 (patch identifier unknown from sources)
- Move E-Business Suite to a supported release newer than `12.2.15` (unknown from sources)
