Teams running affected Oracle Java SE or GraalVM builds where network-reachable code calls the JAAS APIs, such as a web service that feeds request data into them. Client machines that run sandboxed Java applets or Web Start apps are also named as affected in the advisory. Systems on unaffected Java versions, or that never expose JAAS to outside input, are less exposed.
