# MDM App Catalog preview renders unsanitized HTML, enabling cross-site scripting

Link for people: https://infrastack.ai/live/CVE-2026-65022 (this .md is for agents)

The MDM App Catalog and App Store preview does not sanitize or encode user-supplied HTML before displaying it. A crafted app entry can inject script that runs in the browser of an admin or user who views the preview when they interact with it.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Timeline

- 2026-11-06T08:40:33+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-65022

## From the sources

The MDM App Catalog / App Store preview does not properly sanitize or encode user-supplied HTML before rendering it.  Injected HTML can be displayed to users who view the preview, which may allow cross-site scripting (XSS) when a user interacts with the crafted content.
