# Android: window relayout logic error allows local permission bypass

A logic error in Android's WindowState.java, in the prepareWindowToDisplayDuringRelayout function, allows a permission bypass. A local app could use it to escalate privileges without extra execution rights or user interaction.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## From the sources

In prepareWindowToDisplayDuringRelayout of WindowState.java, there is a possible permission bypass due to a logic error in the code. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
