# Android search database utility: SQL injection exposes protected data locally

SearchRequestDatabaseUtil.java has several functions that build SQL queries unsafely, allowing SQL injection. A local app or process could read protected data and cause a local denial of service, with no extra privileges and no user interaction needed.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## From the sources

In multiple functions of SearchRequestDatabaseUtil.java, there is a possible way to access protected data due to SQL injection. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
