# Snort 3: hardening fixes for internal flaws in incorrect calculation

Cisco's Snort 3 network intrusion detection software has several internally found flaws in incorrect calculation logic (CWE-682), fixed in hardening releases. The sources do not say what an attacker can do with them.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- unknown

## Fix

- Move Snort 3 to a hardening release that includes the fix, per Cisco's advisory (version not stated in the sources)
