# IBM API Connect: SQL injection lets a logged-in attacker read sensitive data

Link for people: https://infrastack.ai/live/CVE-2026-17363 (this .md is for agents)

IBM API Connect versions 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 contain a SQL injection flaw. A remote attacker with a valid account can use it to obtain sensitive information from the database.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:IBM API Connect affected >= 10.0.8.0, <= 10.0.8.12 fixed 10.0.8.13
- vendor:IBM API Connect V12 OnPrem affected >= 12.1.0.0, <= 12.1.1.2 fixed 12.1.1.3

## How to check

Find your installed API Connect version. Affected: 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12, and V12 OnPrem 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2. Fixed: 10.0.8.13 and 12.1.1.3. IBM lists no workaround.

## Fix

Upgrade to API Connect 10.0.8.13 (10.0.8 line) or v12.1.1.3 (12.1 line), via IBM Fix Central.

## Timeline

- 2026-11-07T06:11:12+00:00 analyst https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/7295637 — Read IBM bulletins node/7295637 (10.0.8.13) and ...-ibm-api-connect-39 (v12.1.1.3); both list CVE-2026-17363, CWE-89, CVSS 7.7, no workarounds. No exploitation or PoC found (OffSeq says none). Skipped social search; low-profile CVE.

## From the sources

IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information due to SQL injection.
