# BeyondTrust Remote Support (RS) and certain older versions of Privileged Remote Access (PRA) contain a critical…

BeyondTrust Remote Support and Privileged Remote Access contain an OS command injection flaw that lets an unauthenticated remote attacker run operating system commands as the site user. CISA lists it as actively exploited in the wild, and the sources say it may lead to full system compromise, data theft and service disruption.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:BeyondTrust Remote Support (RS) and Privileged Remote Access (PRA) affected ? fixed ?
- vendor:beyondtrust privileged remote access affected < 25.1 fixed 25.1
- vendor:beyondtrust remote support affected < 25.3.2 fixed 25.3.2

## Fix

Apply the mitigations from the BeyondTrust vendor advisory; if none are available, discontinue use of the product per CISA guidance. Specific fixed versions: unknown.

## From the sources

BeyondTrust Remote Support (RS) and Privileged Remote Access (PRA)contain an OS command injection vulnerability. Successful exploitation could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute operating system commands in the context of the site user. Successful exploitation requires no authentication or user interaction and may lead to system compromise, including unauthorized access, data exfiltration, and service disruption.

CISA required action: Apply mitigations per vendor instructions, follow applicable BOD 22-01 guidance for cloud services, or discontinue use of the product if mitigations are unavailable.
