# IBM API Connect: authorization gap exposes other organizations' information to authenticated users

IBM API Connect versions 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 skip authorization checks when certain organization URLs are resolved. A logged-in attacker can read information belonging to other organizations.

IBM API Connect 10.0.8.0 through 10.0.8.12 and 12.1.0.0 through 12.1.1.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information due to improper authorization. Authorization checks are not applied when certain organization URLs are resolved, which could allow access to information belonging to others.
