NO FIX YET · SEE WHAT TO DO

OpenAM deployments from 14.0.0 before 16.1.4 are exposed, particularly where the notification WebSocket and legacy Liberty ID-FF endpoints are reachable. Teams running OpenAM on 16.1.4 or later are not affected by this signal. Whether the legacy endpoints are enabled in typical configurations is unknown from the sources.

14.0.0 to 16.1.4 (before fixed)16.1.4 or laterOpenAM from 14.0.0 before 16.1.4 contains an information disclosure vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read live session tokens from the notification WebSocket. Attackers can bypass the agent-only check through an unvalidated internal forward on legacy Liberty ID-FF endpoints, collecting iPlanetDirectoryPro tokens to hijack user and administrator sessions.
