# JetBrains Hub: enforced two-factor login can be switched off via profile update

Link for people: https://infrastack.ai/live/CVE-2026-123295 (this .md is for agents)

JetBrains Hub before 2026.2.52519 lets a user disable two-factor authentication that the administrator has enforced, by sending a request to the profile update endpoint. An attacker with a valid account can then sign in without the second factor.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the Hub version in the admin panel or the running build; versions below `2026.2.52519` are in scope.

## Fix

- JetBrains Hub: move to `2026.2.52519` or later.

## Timeline

- 2026-11-06T11:41:25+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-123295

## From the sources

In JetBrains Hub before 2026.2.52519 enforced two-factor authentication could be disabled via the profile update endpoint
