# CloudClassroom-PHP-Project: SQL injection in faculty details page via deleteid

A PHP classroom project's facultydetails.php page passes the deleteid parameter into a SQL query without sanitizing it. An attacker can send crafted requests to read or change database contents.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- github:CloudClassroom-PHP-Project affected rolling release, no versions; master facultydetails.php as read 2026-11-03 fixed ?

## How to check

Open facultydetails.php in your copy of mathurvishal/CloudClassroom-PHP-Project. It is vulnerable if $_GET['deleteid'] is put straight into the query (DELETE FROM facutlytable WHERE FID = $deleteid) with no cast or prepared statement. Check web logs for requests to facultydetails.php with a deleteid value that is not a plain number.
