# Chrome on iOS: navigation flaw lets a compromised renderer escape sandbox

Google Chrome on iOS before 157.0.8103.38 has an improper privilege management flaw in its navigation code. A remote attacker who has already compromised the renderer process could potentially run arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Open Chrome on the iPhone or iPad and check the version under Chrome > Settings > Google Chrome > About Chrome, or confirm it is at least `157.0.8103.38`.
