# WordPress Smush plugin: stored cross-site scripting through 4.3.5

The Smush Image Compression and Optimization WordPress plugin (wp-smushit) fails to neutralize input when generating pages, enabling stored cross-site scripting. An attacker who can get script stored in the plugin's data can run it in the browser of other users, such as site administrators.
