# Devolutions Server: AD credential check leaks service account NetNTLMv2 hash

Devolutions Server 2026.3.12.0 and earlier has a server-side request forgery flaw in its Active Directory credential validation. An authenticated low-privileged user can make the server send an attacker-controlled domain name, capturing the NetNTLMv2 hash of the DVLS service account.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed Devolutions Server version against the fixed release.

## Timeline

- 2026-11-03T21:19:08+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-120715

## From the sources

Server-side request forgery in the Active Directory credential validation in Devolutions Server 2026.3.12.0 and earlier allows an authenticated low-privileged user to capture the NetNTLMv2 hash of the DVLS service account via an attacker-controlled domain name in the request.
