# Customer Reviews for WooCommerce: stored script injection via slides_to_show parameter

The Customer Reviews for WooCommerce WordPress plugin does not sanitize the slides_to_show parameter, so input is stored and output unescaped. An attacker with contributor-level access can inject scripts that run in the browser of anyone who opens the affected page.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed version of the Customer Reviews for WooCommerce plugin in the WordPress admin under Plugins; affected versions are up to and including `5.126.0`.

## Timeline

- 2026-11-05T05:31:54+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-120553

## From the sources

The Customer Reviews for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'slides_to_show' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.126.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
