_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## Affected

- vendor:WN553X1-B affected V260403_2.0.0 fixed ?

## How to check

Check the firmware version on the router admin page; V260403_2.0.0 is the only version named as affected. Other versions are not stated to be safe or affected. Also check whether the admin interface is reachable from the internet or untrusted networks.

## Timeline

- 2026-11-01T18:21:31+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-120239
- 2026-11-01T18:24:20+00:00 analyst — Read VulDB VDB-429598 (CNA) and WAVLINK advisory index. Vendor has no entry/fix for this CVE; VulDB says no mitigation known; public PoC on github (link not shown, locked). Auth: CVSS vector PR:L so a low-privileged login is likely needed (not stated in text); whether WireGuard must be enabled is not stated. Nothing verified: no vendor statement.
