# ArcadeDB: authenticated users can reach cloud metadata and internal services

ArcadeDB lets a user with database-settings permission clear the LOAD CSV IP block list through ALTER DATABASE. That lets them make the server fetch cloud metadata and internal loopback or private services.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the ArcadeDB version in use; affected range is `26.8.1` up to but not including `26.10.2`.
- Look for users with the `updateDatabaseSettings` permission.
- Check whether `arcadedb.opencypher.loadCsv.blockedIpRanges` has been set to an empty string.

## Fix

- Move to `26.10.2` or later.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-30T14:30:54+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-119575

## From the sources

ArcadeDB from 26.8.1 before 26.10.2 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows authenticated users with updateDatabaseSettings to disable the LOAD CSV IP block list via ALTER DATABASE. Attackers can set arcadedb.opencypher.loadCsv.blockedIpRanges to an empty string, then issue LOAD CSV requests to read cloud metadata and internal loopback or private services.
