# Eclipse ThreadX: Module Manager mutex left locked after overflow error

In Eclipse ThreadX 6.0.1 through 6.5.2.202603, the Module Manager loaders return an overflow error without releasing the Module Manager mutex when a module preamble declares an oversized data or stack size. Loading such an image blocks every later module load, start, stop and unload from other threads until the system is reset.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check whether the product in use is Eclipse ThreadX and its version (`6.0.1` to `6.5.2.202603` is affected per the sources)
- Check whether the Module Manager feature is used to load modules

## From the sources

In Eclipse ThreadX versions 6.0.1 through 6.5.2.202603, the Module Manager loaders return an overflow error without releasing the Module Manager mutex when a module preamble declares a data or stack size that overflows the allocation arithmetic. Loading such an image blocks every later module load, start, stop and unload from other threads until the system is reset.
