# WordPress Contact Form plugin: stored template injection runs server code

The Contact Form by Supsystic WordPress plugin before 1.11.1 renders stored form-editor content through a template engine without sandboxing it. An administrator can inject template code that runs on the server, and the payload executes for any visitor who loads a page with the form, exposing secrets such as salts and database credentials.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed version of the Contact Form by Supsystic plugin in the WordPress admin plugins list; versions below `1.11.1` are in the stated range.
- Review stored form templates for unexpected template syntax if the plugin has been in use on this site.

## Fix

- Contact Form by Supsystic: `1.11.1` or later (the sources state the fix is in 1.11.1).

## Timeline

- 2026-10-29T06:53:13+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-115301

## From the sources

The Contact Form by Supsystic WordPress plugin before 1.11.1 does not sandbox the template engine used to render its forms and allows stored form-editor content to reach that engine as executable template code, enabling an administrator to perform server-side template injection and execute arbitrary code on the server. The injected template is compiled and executed whenever any visitor loads a page containing the form, so the stored payload also lets an unauthenticated visitor read server-side secrets such as authentication salts and database credentials.
