# Chat AI with Dispatcher WordPress plugin: unauthenticated upload of PHP files

The Chat AI with Dispatcher WordPress plugin before 2.4 checks uploaded files only by a client-supplied content type, which an attacker can fake. An unauthenticated attacker can therefore upload a PHP file and run code on the server.

_Summary, check and fix written by a model from the sources; labelled as such._

## How to check

- Check the installed version of the Chat AI with Dispatcher plugin in the WordPress admin under Plugins.
- Look for uploaded `.php` files in the plugin's upload directories under `wp-content/uploads`.

## Fix

- Chat AI with Dispatcher plugin: move to `2.4` or later.

## Timeline

- 2026-10-29T06:53:13+00:00 nvd https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2026-115245

## From the sources

The Chat AI with Dispatcher WordPress plugin before 2.4 does not properly validate uploaded files, relying only on a spoofable client-supplied content type, allowing unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files, including PHP, which can lead to remote code execution.
